Only two blocks away from our hotel, was the suburb of Tlaqapaque (ta-lock-a-pock-ee). This is the artists center of Guadalarja. Arturo and Estella give tours of the artists studios where several “18 wheelers” have been known to arrive from the US to take back a truck load of furniture and crafts.
