Affectionately reffered to as “Z-Town”, Zihuatanejo has maintained it’s cruise ship destination status despite a referendum from the locals NOT to build a cruise ship dock here. We think they were right not to do it as it would make this place entirely lose it’s charm….(or what’s left of it!).
