The ARC is the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers. They run an annual event of almost 200 boats across the Atlantic from the Canary Islands to St. Lucia in the Caribbean. Every two years, they have an 18 month fast track circumnavigation scheduled and we happened to be here in Bora Bora when they came through. About 30 boats, 4 were from the US. Most were from Germany.
