Back to our reality…..We stayed for over two weeks at the Bora Bora Yacht Club (bar and rebuilding restaurant from Cyclone OLI).
The anchorages here are very deep, typically 80-90 feet. So mooring to a fixed block on the bottom is a prudent option versus using our anchor gear. The price was right (unusual for French Polynesia) and the young couple (he’s Tahitian, she’s American) do a nice job.
