It’s always a bit of nervous time when entering or exiting the reef systems of the South Pacific. Often very strong currents can be going against tide or waves. Here, we see the channel just south of Marina Taina at a strong ebb going against the surf. It can be pretty exciting. We think the most exciting one are yet ahead in Maupiti, Mopelia (our last islands in French Polynesia) and Aitutaki in the Cook Islands.
